Syok Sendiri Pics @ F1 2008

Muahahahahaahahhahahahaa.. Went again to Sepang Circuit for the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix 2008. Weather was hot. Crowd was great. Race was good. Kimi Raikkonen came in first. Check out my Fan-Wear for the day. Forgot to bring socks so halfway thru walking around the stand, i started to have blisters. Dang. Great seats i have this year. Then again, the seats dun matter much. Its the stand entry and access area thats more important. Mine is Tower South. Its a big triangular section at the last corner where the straights of both grandstand joined together. Good thing is that i can watch the back straight, middle of the corner where i can see the other side, and also the front straight. Boom of the gearbox as the cars downshift when approaching the last turn, and full on rev as they exit the turn. Had to plug in err.. cotton wools into my ears. I'm too cheapskate to buy earplugs. These are last years' balance. Still got a lot tho. Its for many races to come. ha ha. Saw a couple of overtaking moves, and also Massa's lost of control into the gravel. He lost control at the same place last year too. Read somewhere that Massa can sometime 'space out' in the middle of the race. I wonder how can someone space out when driving the F1 cars at such insane speed. Bought another cap this year with Kimi Raikkonen's name on it. Am a big fan of him. Went straight back to jb after the race and reached jb at around 10.30pm. Man Utd beat Liperfool 3-0 that night. Probably one of the best days this year. Everything went well from the moment I woke up right until I went back to sleep. Great weekend. Here are some syok sendiri pics i took. Didnt snap a lot this year. Was busy waving my hand and posing at other people's cameras. ha ha.

Swimming Pool Chat Up

was out with the guys having hi tea @ hua mui on sunday.
i went swimming after that at larkin public pool. in the pool, after a few laps, i stop for breath at the side of the pool.
was minding my own business until i notice this one apek slowly edging himself near me. suddenly the fella touched my elbow. then he smiled at me. so i smiled back.
he told me i swim good and ask wat days do i usually come down there to swim all the while still slowly edging closer to me. i was somewhere in the middle of the pool which depth is somewhere between around my neck level. the more he edged closer, the further i go to the deeper end.
errkk! i think he was on to me or something. i told him i seldom go larkin. i always swim at permas sports complex. then he asks me where do i work, where do i live, and all the while he kept smiling.
once in a while, in between chats, he would dip his head under water then rise up again. smiling of course. feeling kinda intruded in some ways, i waited for the fella to dip his head once more, and i quickly lunge to swim to the other side. the fella oso follow. but he went ahead faster.
once i reached the other end, i quickly swam back to the place where we first chat. the fella pancit, stop at the other side.
after that, i didnt see him again. dunno which young boy he kacau summore. i think he's gay.
i tell you.. SWIMMING POOL IS NOT EXACTLY A GOOD PLACE PLACE FOR MEN TO CHIT CHAT WITH OTHER MEN. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE WEARING TIGHTS OR TRUNKS.
talking football in the pool is ok. talking bout chicks and boobs and nice legs and oogling at chicks in the pool is extremely ok - not that you'd find much of em anyways in jb. ha ha.
its NOT OK to get to know any other men for the sake of being frenly in the pool.
bleeaaggghhh.. oh, by they way, i did only 500m of laps and my arms hurt like hell. i cant bring my arms up to shampoo my hair when i shower. ha ha.
ahh.. at the changing room pulak..
after i showered and siap edi.. while walking out, i saw the gay apek walking in.
there he was, walking gingerly like a bapok in his ultra small blue trunks, hips swaying a bit and goggles pushed up the head.. coming in to the changing room. he smiled at me.
with super cool macho effect, i just kept a straight face and nod slightly at him.. and quickly walk out. scared if too slow, he'd grab me or bitchslap me on the ass.
bleeaagghhh..!

General Elections 2008 : Backlash

Hoohaaa..!~ Been very busy to update my puny blog but, here goes. If you've been following the papers or the media, you shud've known by now the results. Most shocking result in 4 decades. BN denied 2/3 majority in parliament. BN lost 5 states to oppsitions. Cabinet has just been announced today. Very interesting list as some 'veteran faces' are missing namely the big fat rafidah and semi value. Many changes which kind of looks promising on paper. But i still have my doubts. I'm not one to comment on that.
Being Malaysian, the people or 'rakyat' seems to be happy with the results. It looks quite promising for the rakyat, and it shows the people up there that democracy still rules. I could assume that this backlash is due to the fact that the people are somewhat sick of all the fiascos the people up there in the government pull one after another. I dunno what kind of people are they inside. Do they have the heart at all to be leaders of a country? Blame it on the rumors you say? As the saying goes, 'there's no smoke unless there's fire'. I dunno. I'm not being biased. I have my reservations.
Look further down below, there're still no changes yet to anything at all. The living standards are still the same. Neccessities prices are still high. Petrol prices still high. Ringgit is still not strong againts USD, overseas investors lost interest in our country, the rich are getting richer, the poor are still struggling, and the middle class? They're the one doing the hardwork to make ends meet.
In every election, oppositions prepared themselves to challenge and to lose. But this time round, tho BN still won, they still managed to deny 2/3 majority. Now that gives a better voice stand in parliament. But question is, how would they measure up? I wonder if they could really deliver. LIke i mentioned before, their campaigns are kiddy park bust ups with all the name calling and back stabbing - well most of em anyways. Lets all hope they deliver and not just sit around doing nothing but then again, isnt that what they're good at? har har. Hope. Thats a big word for everyone.
I'm lazy to type further. GE is over. Cabinet is up. Lets just sit back and see what difference does all this make once they got into gear. Here's to a happy, peaceful, united and safe Malaysia. Hoohaaa..!~ Malaysia Boleh! errr boleh ke?

Election Fever

General Elections 2008 is just around the corner. Am a registered voter now. Registered at the end of last year. As a Malaysian, i'm embarassed at how those people, those so called 'leaders of communities'. Its a shame on how the SPR went about the whole thing. First the indelible ink for voters. Supposedly to avoid cheating or ghost voters. Then they retract the motion and cancelled it off at the last minute. I guess as the campaigns were going on, the government realized that theyr'e in deep shit and that the people somewhat lost hope in them and they wouldn't stand a chance of getting majority. Ha Ha. Sleep again la. Sleep la. Screw the people summore.
The media.. oh would you look at em. The government is holding their balls. Tight. Mass media campaignings are all one sided. Newspapers, tvs, are all BN inclined. All the political ads shown on tv are BN adds. Its like they're begging the people to vote for them. Dun't really have much faith on thyself huh BN? ha ha. The only reliable info available is the internet. Unbiased, truthful (most of em anyways), and reflects the true emotions that the people have toward the current government.
The candidates, fooohhhh.. check out their campaigns. Some are superb and very well expressed to the people. But some are just plain childish with all the name calling, telling offs, and mockings. These are the people we have to vote for - be it the ruling party or the oppositions? It makes me wonder what kind of values they wud bring in for the people which they're suppose to represent. These are the people's voices. There're many new faces. Many fresh young faces if you noticed and have been reading thru this whole Malaysian political saga. A number picking up where their dads left off. A couple of hot babes running for DUN, and the corrupt others.
If you get your news from the internet rather than the local newspaper or tv, chances are, you should be be familiar with the goal to refuse BN a 2/3 majority in parliament. Hoohaa..!~ Am sure its not possible. Statistics shows that there are a lot of new voters for the 12th GE. That, and the fact that the shortcomings faced by our so called 'leaders' arent easily forgotten by the people. The Rakyat are also more exposed to alternative medias which gives a different perspective to them on how things are actually administrated here in Malaysia, our beloved country. I leave the judgement to all those claims and revelations on the net to you. As the ancient sea people saying goes, there will not be barbequed chicken wings smell if there's no barbequed chicken wings on the grill burning away.
If the opposition win in any way at all, i hope they deliver. No wait, whoever wins, i hope they deliver and i really really hope that they put the people's interest first before themselves or their pocket for that matter. Aren't we a democratic country? They should put that in mind that the people hold their balls.
Nevertheless, lets hope for a really FAIR general elections tomoro. The power is in our hands - The Rakyat.
Where will i vote? I'll be voting at Sekolah Aminuddin Baki near my gramp's place. My area is Pengkalan Rinting and err.. undi adalah rahsia. muhahahahaha..
